Seville is going to celebrate love loudly and for all audiences, so it doesn’t matter if you come alone, as a couple, with friends, or even to celebrate it with the whole family.

The city doesn’t care who you come with because it has plans for all tastes and budgets and, best of all, a very pleasant climate and fewer tourists than at any other time of the year.

If you are looking for a destination to celebrate Valentine’s Day without falling into the typical, Seville is an excellent choice. You’ll agree with us after reading all these plans we have prepared for you.

Valentine's Day breakfasts, lunches, and dinners in Seville

We start with one of the plans that never fails: the gastronomic ones. Because in Seville any time of day is good to sit at the table and enjoy, and February 14th cannot be missed either.

For breakfast or a delicious brunch there are options that work especially well. One of them is Billy Brunch, here the dishes will first catch your eye and then, in your palate, you will realize that they are really good.

Another very successful option is Feria 83. In addition to how delicious everything is and the quality of the products they use, its decoration in pink tones fits perfectly with the most typical conception we have of Valentine’s Day. The atmosphere also adds up! And one more, Inesperado, a place specialized in Colombian breakfasts that has a delicious coffee.

For lunch or dinner, Seville once again plays with an advantage. El Pintón is a safe bet for a special occasion. Its interior terrace is beautiful and creates a very pleasant atmosphere, ideal for both lunch and dinner. The croquettes are its great specialty and the cheesecake provides the sweet touch that cannot be missed on a date like this, because what would Valentine’s Day be without sharing a good dessert?

Another interesting option is La Tizná, a place where you can have tapas of oysters, salmorejo or an Iberian chop and also enjoy its great cocktail menu.

If you are looking for a more careful and haute cuisine experience for Valentine’s Day dinner in Seville, Terraza de la O is a very good choice. And if you prefer something more traditional, with the focus on traditional cuisine, Casa Paco is a safe bet.

The charm of Valentine's Day is also in the settings

Theater, music, cinema or live shows become perfect plans when what you are looking for is to enjoy Valentine’s Day from the stalls.

Another option that never fails is the theater. Spaces such as the Teatro Alameda or the Teatro de la Maestranza usually have special programming on these dates, with countless plays, concerts and shows such as «A Midsummer Night’s Dream.»

If you fancy something more informal, going to the cinema in Seville also has its point. Of course, choose classic cinemas such as the Cine Cervantes and make going to see a movie become more than just going to the cinema.

There is also no shortage of small-format shows: live music, flamenco, recitals, independent cinema or smaller cultural proposals. For this, you can take a look at spaces such as Casa de la Memoria, the Tablao El Arenal, Los Gallos or La Carbonería, where it is easy to find flamenco, sevillanas and live music.

Different plans to do in Seville on Valentine's Day

One of the most romantic is Candlelight, a candlelight experience that transforms any concert into something special. You can enjoy tributes to ABBA, Queen or The Beatles and, in addition, for February 13 and 14 there are special Valentine’s Day performances scheduled.

Another experience that is very worthwhile is Feeling Sevilla, an immersive proposal designed to stimulate the senses in the emblematic Setas de Sevilla.

If you fancy something even more visual, the Museo de las Ilusiones Sevilla is a very fun option. It has optical games, interactive spaces and very cool visual effects to take photos and have a different time. The memory you need of your Valentine’s Day getaway to Seville!

And in that same line —let it be noted that we love it—, you can also sign up for the Route through the Seville of the past with virtual reality, a different way to tour the city traveling, literally, in time. Thanks to virtual reality glasses, you will be able to see what Seville was like centuries ago.

And of course, if after these plans you fancy a classic, climb the Giralda, visit the Real Alcázar of Seville or stay to watch the sunset from the Setas de Sevilla.

Valentine's Day is also lived outdoors

Just go to the Barrio de Santa Cruz when it starts to get dark to feel the romance. Its narrow streets, its small squares and that special atmosphere that is created at dusk make walking through this area a great plan, especially on Valentine’s Day.

Another must-see is the Plaza de España, one of the most impressive spaces in the city. Built for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929, the square is a tribute to the country and its provinces, represented in hand-painted tile benches that run throughout the perimeter. Walking through it, sitting for a while or watching the musicians and street artists is also a success, especially if it is your first time in Seville.

Very close you have the Parque de María Luisa. Formerly it was part of the private gardens of the Palacio de San Telmo and was donated to the city at the beginning of the 20th century. Today it is one of the lungs of the Andalusian capital, full of roundabouts, fountains, ceramic benches and corners where you can sit in the shade.

And if you want to end the day with views, crossing the bridge to Triana is almost mandatory. The walk at dusk, with the illuminated city reflecting in the river, is one of those moments that fit perfectly into a Valentine’s Day in Seville.
